The product is sold by m², but the packing summary explains how the calculated area maps to real logistics:

10 Boxes make 1 Pallet.

When the required area reaches enough full boxes, the packing summary groups those boxes into pallets and displays any remaining boxes separately.

The product price is still calculated from the billable quantity. Packing is shown as an informational logistics summary on the product page, cart, checkout, and order.
